RAJA BAHADUR AWARD
The Society has instituted an award in the name of “Raja Bahadur” to be given every year to an eminent personality in the field of agriculture and related activities, industry, literary field, academicians, distinguished services in the Legislature, social activities such as starting of orphanage for destitute children, rehabilitation of destitute children employed as domestic helpers, Prevention of Child marriages and promotion of widow re-marriages , Personality promoting education for the poor rural girls students and who are serving for the principles and ideas of “Raja Bahadur” etc.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- along with a citation. The selection of awardees will be decided by a commitee constituted for the purpose.
During 2014-15 the award was given to Dr. C. Narayan Reddy Gnanapeeta’ awardee for his achivements in literary field and during 2015-16 to Sri Chinthala Venkat Reddy for his achivements in the field of agriculture particularly grape growing.
